This new facility, located in the Co Chien Industrial Zone, Vinh Long province, marks a significant milestone in De Heus’s commitment to advancing the aquaculture sector, particularly in shrimp farming.

The inauguration of the De Heus Vinh Long Shrimp Feed Mill has been hailed as a substantial boon for the local economy and the aquaculture industry in Vietnam. With an annual capacity of 50,000 metric tons, this state-of-the-art facility is poised to revolutionize the production of shrimp feed products in the region. H.E. Daniel Stork, consul general of the Netherlands in Ho Chi Minh City, emphasized the pivotal role of this venture in enhancing food security, improving yields, and fostering sustainable development in Vinh Long and beyond.
Spanning an area of 29,300 square meters, the De Heus Vinh Long Shrimp Feed Mill boasts five production lines exclusively dedicated to shrimp feed products. Leveraging cutting-edge technology imported from Europe, the facility adheres rigorously to international quality standards such as ISO 22000, BAP, and GLOBALG.A.P. This commitment to excellence ensures that the shrimp feed produced is of the highest quality, meeting the stringent requirements of global markets.
