Expansion Plans and Market Vision
Farid Naufal Aslam, CEO & Co-founder of Aruna, envisions expanding their business footprint both domestically and globally, leveraging the extensive network of Aruna fishermen and supply points spanning across 150 locations throughout Indonesia.
Farid stated that Atuna is optimistic about creating new opportunities and markets for local seafood globally, backed by their supply chain covering 90 percent of Indonesia’s provinces. The goal is to promote Indonesian seafood on a global scale and increase opportunities for local seafood exports.
Targeted Global Markets
Farid highlighted several global markets of interest for seafood exports, including Europe, Japan, and the Middle East. Aruna aims to showcase their premium seafood commodities such as tuna, crab, lobster, and others in these markets.

Farid emphasized the pivotal role of technology in achieving success in the fisheries industry, drawing from the achievements of leading countries in this sector.
He noted that digitalization and effective data management are fundamental for success in the Indonesian fishing industry.
Innovations Driving Growth
Aruna has developed traceability technologies to monitor the fishing locations of their products, ensuring transparency and quality control. Additionally, the company utilizes an internal seasonal calendar to forecast harvest trends for various fishery product commodities.
